Industry: Medical Devices / Life Sciences / Healthcare. Based: North Zealand, Denmark. Salary level: approximately DKK 1.4 million per annum.

About the Role:

As Human Resources Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies in a growing medical technology company. You will work directly with the senior leadership team to ensure the company’s people and culture agenda aligns with the expansion of R&D, clinical trials, quality assurance and commercial operations. The role encompasses responsibility for designing robust HR policies, leading end‑to‑end recruitment, overseeing talent development, and ensuring the company’s compliance with stringent industry regulations and labour laws.

You will advise on workforce planning in regulated environments, deliver employee training and certification frameworks, and manage internal communications to support a highly engaged, purpose‑driven culture. You will provide guidance to line managers on performance reviews, employment matters, succession planning and compensation development. You will oversee HR administration, contract management, absence tracking, and support in relation to trade union dialogue where applicable. As the company expands globally, you will also coordinate with international HR partners regarding mobility and compliance in clinical and commercial hubs abroad.

Profile:

You will bring substantial experience from the life sciences or medical device industry, with a track record of working within highly regulated HR environments. You will hold a university degree in HRM, Organisational Development, or Life Sciences, ideally supplemented with training in employment law or quality assurance practices. You will have a thorough understanding of GxP, ISO 13485, and MDR frameworks, with the ability to translate regulatory demands into HR processes. You will be experienced in supporting recruitment in technical, clinical and commercial roles and will have demonstrated the ability to build HR systems, lead culture initiatives and support scale‑up operations.

You will be structured, proactive and detail‑oriented with the ability to operate independently while collaborating across departments. You will be confident when interacting with international partners, board members, auditors and regulators, and you will possess excellent judgement and communication skills.

Competencies and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HR operations in regulated environments, including QMS integration and compliance with the Danish Working Environment Authority. Talent acquisition experience within R&D, regulatory affairs, QA and clinical operations. Deep knowledge of collective agreements, GDPR, and Danish labour legislation. Strategic mindset with hands‑on capacity in payroll coordination, digital HR systems, and HR analytics. Familiarity with medical HR audits, training matrices and risk‑based compliance frameworks.

Languages:

Fluent in Danish and English. Comfort working in multilingual teams and with global collaborators is essential.
